Work plays an extremely important role in life at Beit Elisha. It stresses the therapeutic value provided by skills needed for various areas of life, together with the creativity that enables the creation of a high-quality product.

Every day, Beit Elisha members arise for work in their community. Some of them are employed at the therapeutic riding stables; others work in organic agriculture; and still others work in the kitchen, bakery, or in the handicraft workshops centered in a special building of the Kamah Center. The products of their labor provide much of the food they eat every day, such as vegetables, breads, granola, jams, and more.

Work in the various employment branches fills a variety of physical and emotional needs. On occasion, members switch between one workplace and another as needed.
