Organic Agriculture
The organic plots of Beit Elisha are spread throughout Kibbutz Harduf. The organic produce is served to diners at the Kamah Gallery and Café.
Throughout the year, we sow, plant, and harvest based on a plan prepared with the kitchen staff. This allows members to enjoy fresh seasonal vegetables picked every day for the kitchen, straight from the organic farm plots.
The members working in the organic plots study various areas of agriculture and the farming cycle of preparing the soil, planting, and harvesting.
The work in the organic fields is especially suitable for people who feel a strong need for outside physical labor and a connection with nature. It is particularly well-suited for those with depressive tendencies or members suffering from mental stress.
