Kamah's stables are a unique space providing therapeutic horseback riding sessions for members of the Kamah communities, residents of other rehabilitative communities on Harduf, and riding students from the kibbutz and nearby area.
Members of Beit Elisha help care for the horses, clean stalls and pens, accompany the horses out to pasture, maintain riding equipment, carry out gardening tasks, and help operate a goat farm and petting zoo nearby. High-functioning community members also accompany riders during the lessons themselves.
Work in the stables is suitable for members who benefit from physical labor in an open setting and a range of tasks during the workday. Some of the workers are members with complex behavioral problems, who benefit a great deal from working with animals.
